The workshop is a perfect size with it’s own private entrance for visitors but access to communal facilities if needed. I have been running my beauty business from the Eco Centre for just over a year now. When I first started looking for alternative premises I was unsure whether a business centre would be right for beauty treatments. However, after a little bit of research I found that there were already similar businesses here, so decided to book a visit to find out more. I was immediately impressed with the large reception area and the very friendly staff and my clients always comment on how nice it is here when they first visit. I was concerned about access to the building as my clients are used to being able to come after work and on weekends but due to the keypads on the external doors I can access the building 24/7 if I wanted to.
The building is clean and modern and I was surprised by the size and amount of businesses based here. The room I chose is large, bright and airy but I did need to adapt it to suit my purpose…I needed to decorate and put in new flooring before moving in and this was not a problem.
I like the fact that although we all have our individual businesses there is a very friendly community feel to the centre and always someone to talk to or get advice from if needed. The kitchen and reception being the ideal places for a chat and to meet other tenants.
I have been very happy here, as have my clients. It’s great that there is a noise policy, which is important if I have a relaxing treatment like a massage or a facial booked in and the underfloor heating means it is always warm and welcoming.
I would definitely recommend the Eco Business Centre to my friends and business acquaintances looking for new premises.

The Eco Centre is a great place for me to run my hypnotherapy business from. I know that my clients are greeted in a friendly and professional manner in receptions. As a sole trader, working from home is far too solitary for me, so here, at the Centre, between client sessions, I can usually grab a few minutes to catch up with anyone who is around and also wanting to take a quick break from work. Any time I have any concerns or need any practical help with anything, I always seem to be able to find someone, a neighbour or someone on reception, happy to give me some of their time and expertise to help me get un-stuck again. The tenant’s kitchen is occasionally a hub of activity and socialising, and my privacy is always respected when I’m in my room with the blinds down.
